Praise God for the release of 19 of the kidnapped Assyrian Christians on March 1.  Please continue to pray for the release of the others and God to be glorified through their captivity and suffering.

“When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!” (Acts 12:12-14)

According to news reports, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) just abducted 150 Christians, including women and the elderly, from Northeastern Syria.  Please pray for the safety of these hostages and for the people of Syria and their future.

“fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Is. 41:10 (ESV)
